What the Arena - NetSuite Integration Does & How it Works

• The Integration system loads all component and Assembly / BOM level items from Arena --> NetSuite, including Vendor & Pricing information
• When changes are made to existing components, or new ones are created in Arena, the integration adapter creates or updates the same in your NetSuite account
• Any number of custom fields or records can be synchronized from Arena -> NetSuite
• Other functions or workflows can also be triggered in NetSuite, based on specific client requirements
• Integration & business logic is typically deployed as a hosted application using Suite Software's SuiteServer integration system

How it Works: Integration Process using SuiteServer System:

• Suite Software's Arena - to - NetSuite integration uses Arena's standard "ERP Exchange" API
• An Item update or ECO release in Arena triggers a message to the designated "Integration User"
• Arena ERP Exchange monitors the Integration User for new messages and alerts for new ECOs, or other changes
• When a message is found, the Arena ERP Exchange queries client's Arena account and receives back a new update file
• Suite Software's Arena-NetSuite Integration Adapter picks up the new XML file
• Based on client-specific mapping, the Adapter transforms the Arena XML file and creates a web services call to NetSuite
• Web services call to NetSuite adds, or updates, Item or Vendor records per required schedule
• Each new Item in Arena creates the same new Item/ SKU in NetSuite
• A new Item Version in Arena may Update the same Item/ SKU in NetSuite, along with information specific to new Version
• Multi-level bills of material (BOMs) are fully supported for creation or update from Arena to NetSuite
• Items or BOMs can be selectively excluded or filtered out of the transfer process
• Integration Adapter logs activity and any exceptions
• Administrator or assigned operator can be alerted via email or via Tasks created in NetSuite
